I've been trying to do a diorama for this model for four years now! My first attempt was impressive, (see below),
but it was so huge I would have had to rent out an apartment for it.

This dio gives the same atmosphere but with a much smaller footprint, perfect for my shelves.

I really like the 1943 "Son Of Dracula" film, except for Chaney and the two "Van Helsing" type actors.
The women in it, especially Louise Allbritton, were great.

I really like this base! I got to play with lichens and mosses and celluclay - what kid wouldn't love that?

The lichen is covering up a seam across the coffin that I just could not make disappear.

And for those who like to see how sauages are made, here's the back.
I used a few hunks of carving foam as an armature for the celluclay and just started slapping it on.
The extra you see on the bottom is holding a few pieces of foam together.
What follows is my older dio which was waaaay too big.
The following text is from when I had just finished it.

This big kahuna diorama may be a bit much for the Model Museum, but I wanted to photograph it anyway.
It's scratch-built from wood, paper mache, and mosses.

Here are a couple of 3D pics as well:
